Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all!  Today we went to early church with friends so we didn't have time to check out what the Easter Bunny had left, but we could tell it was a ton of stuff.  Miss Chelsie's Easter basket couldn't hold it all so he used a bowl and the kitchen counter.

After coming home from church miss Chelsie had a chance to check things out.

Everyone of her plastic eggs had something in it.  There were braclets, rice puffs and pony tail holders just to mention a few.

After checking out all of her stuff from the Easter Bunny we met up again with our friends for an Easter egg hunt and lunch at the club.

At the Easter egg hunt the Easter Bunny was actually there.

Miss Chelsie's friend Evan gave her a cute little chick that peeped when held in your hand.

Miss Chelsie loved the Easter Bunny!

After lunch, we got back home and miss Chelsie's friends Meghan and Jordan from next door came out in their Easter dresses so we could take photos.

Such a special first Easter for miss Chelsie.  We prayed and thanked our Jesus for making this day such a Special Day on the Christian calender.  Someday, Chelsie will understand the sacrifice that was made for all of humanity.

Decorating Easter Eggs

We had a lot of eggs to decorate today.  Our friend gave us some eggs that varied in shades of brown and there was even a green egg.  We also had some plastic eggs and  white eggs that we bought at the store.

Early in the day miss Chelsie started decorating the plastic eggs.  Mama found these great stickers that were easy to put on.  The package also included a little stand to place the decorated egg in.

Miss Chelsie decorated this egg all by herself.  Isn't it beautiful!

Later in the day Aunt E and Uncle M showed up.  So... they got to help with the decorating and dying of the real eggs.

Of course mama and dada got to help too.

Cousins J and M came over so they got to join in on the fun as well.  They helped miss Chelsie finish decorating the plastic eggs.

Below are miss Chelsie's beautifully decorated plastic eggs

And here are the real eggs.  They were such beautiful colors.  No two were the same.  The light egg closest to the center is the green egg we didn't dye it as it was such a pretty shade of green already.

Exercising With Dada

Each evening dada gives miss Chelsie her milk and then they exercise to help with the gas.  Mama is typically upstairs getting her bath but can hear them.  The usual noise she hears is miss Chelsie saying "up - down" as she reaches up to the sky and down to touch her toes.  But tonight their was a lot of laughter so mama had to check out what was going on and it looked like dada was getting the workout.

Finger Licking Good

As we have mentioned before miss Chelsie does not like textures so we try different things to encourage eating.  Well today we were eating a couple of girl scout cookies and decided to give miss Chelsie one.  As you can see she knew just what to do and enjoyed it.

After the first few licks the chocolate began melting in her hand.

She wasn't really sure what to do about the messy fingers.

So she decided to try a lick.

And lick

And lick.

And lick.

And a "tongue rap" lick.

And finally the fist pump as she was successful in getting her fingers clean.

Sunday Dress

Ok we know that it is St. Patricks Day but miss Chelsie didn't have  a green dress.  She did have this cute light blue dress that she wore last summer.  It was given to her by some very special people.  To our delight it still fit her.

Our girl loves to dress up, she is such a girly girl.

Beautiful Day

Today was such a beautiful day we decided to take a walk in the neighborhood.  Here is a picture of miss Chelsie looking to see who was checking her out.

After our walk Chelsie's friend Evan rode down in his "John Deere Tractor" and gave miss Chelsie a ride around the cul-de-sac.

Then dada pulled out his golf clubs for her to swing.  We may have another golfer in the family.  Can you LPGA.  Dada and Mama's retirement fund?
